By the end of the course, every participant will have a clear understanding of purposeful and structured training.

What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a real combat sport that primarily focuses on ground fighting. The main emphasis is on achieving a dominant position, which allows for effective control of the opponent and submission through joint locks (arm, shoulder, leg, etc.) or chokes.

Who is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu suitable for?

At our club, people from all walks of life train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—men and women, young and old, big and small! Training is open to anyone aged 15 and above, and we even have practitioners close to 60 years old. Since Jiu-Jitsu does not involve high-impact throws or strikes, it is a sport that can be practiced well into old age.

Women should not hesitate to join our foundation course. Many women train at our club, and one of our members has become the first and currently only female black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Estonia!
